I am a generation formed strongly with Apollo mission and SF in 1970s. However, I am more optimistic then you are, for I think humanity need to be focused to solve actual problems on Earth in nxt 50 years: energy, food, environment, peace, freedom. And then we can turn to the space again! It’s a very short time!
