  1. Well, the visuals are stunning. Maybe there’s a point at which, like a surrealist’s dream, a succession of strange images becomes more important than any narrative structure?

  2. Perhaps, in certain cases. But I doubt that’s what the backers had in mind. (Or, presumably, the audience.)

  3. This was quite possibly the most amazing show I have ever seen. Lots of problems (the plot-slowing device of the greek chorus), but the most visually stunning show I have ever seen.
