  1. Absolutely. I screen a fair amount of poetry for a publication and have come across some wonderful imagery. Everything seems to be coming along nicely and then the poet ties a trite little bow on it. Sometimes they run out of momentum or they’re trying to write extemporaneously to “be authentic” rather than doing a little planning.

    I’ve been enjoying your posts over the past couple of months. I appreciate the time and care you put into each one. Cheers!
