  1. This really is a two cultures type of thing; it has a sphere of applicability I suppose, but a rather limited one in my opinion. And what is proof anyway? This sounds like one of those quotes which sounds good to the ear but doesn’t stand up to scrutiny unless you destroy its elegance with caveats. It’s too tidy to be true.
